My 2016 GMC Yukon has rails but no cross bars. There were a pair of plastic screws at each location where a cross bar could be used. I carefully removed each screw (so that no residue or half removed screw blocked the new metal screws. If you are careful - DON'T over tighten the screws - this was a breeze to install and worked perfectly. VERY STRONG AND STURDY. Would buy again in a heartbeat!!

These luggage /roof rails are extremely heavy duty! They make manufacturers crossbars seem like a joke. Easy installation and easy to adjust. These have to be the most indestructible crossbars I’ve ever experienced.

We love the product and the appearance. We have only hauled 2 pop ups on it so far that point but they held up nicely even at freeway speeds. There is a slight howl when the wind conditions are right (wrong) but nothing terrible. Installation instructions could be better as far as which bar goes where and right versus left. That is really my only complaint and for the money these are a great value. The true test will come in August when we mount our coffin on it and drive to Tucson, Az., if there is anything to report I will do so.

The first rack that was delivered to me had a flaw in one of the aluminum brackets, so I had to return it. I had better luck with the second rack that was delivered. It is a little cumbersome to install, but overall, it appears to be a quality product. Some complain of some noise, which can be obnoxious since I experienced a noise problem with my previous rack on my former car. This one seems to be quiet, so no complaint there. Sometimes the noise is created by the straps used to tie down a load. I found twisting the straps disrupts the strap vibration which is a simple solution.

Overall the bars are very sturdy and I didn’t experience any quality issues. The clamp pressure did need to be adjusted on 3 of 4 of the bar feet. Mirrors the OEM style with the bungee/tie down holes.So far I found that there is a decent whistle sound that starts up around 45-50 mph. Have these installed to hold a roof top cargo box on longer trips and testing out the noise as I hate having to remove them. Wind noise is the major point for deducting stars on this. Going to try the bar wraps or vortex rubber strip inserts
