Great item to keep your records clean and safe! Sometimes buying an album is quite the investment, you want to do everything you can to extend the lifespan and be able to listen for years. You'd be surprised how many albums you buy don't have protective inner sleeves. Better to be prepared!

I know that sometimes products on Amazon don't come in the packaging that is shown in the listings, but this is NOT a product that should come in a generic plastic bag. Let me explain why.I've been collecting vinyl records since I was 6 years old. As a youth, I spent most of my free funds on records, buying multiple albums a week. It is truly an addiction. As such I care about their condition because of the expense I've made over the last 50+ years.Back in the mid 1980's, the record companies started replacing the standard paper inner sleeves with plastic sleeves, probably to save money. These sleeves were made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride). As the years passed, these sleeves reacted badly with the vinyl in the records causing them to disintegrate and to off-gas chemicals that impregnated into the records, damaging them. Unfortunately I have a few albums that this has happened to, and there is no way to 'fix' these records - they are in like new condition but are destroyed (strange discolorations and lots of noise when played no matter how many times or methods used to clean them).Eventually, inner sleeves made of HDPE (High Density PolyEthylene, AKA rice paper sleeves) were sold by Discwasher as their VRP sleeves. When Discwasher got sucked into the gigantic industrial behemoth RCA they discontinued them, but luckily other companies (most notably MoFi AKA Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs) began selling almost the exact same sleeves, and still do to this day. I have purchased HUNDREDS of these sleeves and love the quality, but they're kinda pricey. When I saw this listing for these sleeves, the first thing I did was look to see what they were made of. The listing says they're made of HDPE, so I jumped on them. Imagine my surprise when I opened the package and saw a plastic bag with 42 sleeves inside. No branding, no description, no nothing. The item number on the bag doesn't even match the item number of the listing, nor does it say who is selling them. I can't even tell if I got what I ordered, but most importantly I DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY'RE MADE OF.I will probably use them on some albums I've bought for $1 that have no sleeves at all, but I'm certainly NOT using them for any records I actually care about.I can NOT RECOMMEND them and WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN.

No packaging but they seem like they will do the job. Simple interior sleeves

I've been purchasing similar inner sleeves at more than twice the price. I was sketchy because I've bought some cheaper ones and got pretty bad quality before. However, these sleeves are on par with my favorite brand that I've been using for years. They're strong, don't tear easily like the other cheaper brands that I've used. Like my preferred brand, they're textured and shaped to easily slide in and out of the sleeve or in my case, album covers. I just wish they offered a bulk option.

Great sleeves! I've nearly used a whole 42 pack and plan to order more to switch out some old paper sleeves that dry out/scratch my vinyl and get paper dust in my grooves. Would recommend switching from any paper sleeves to these to avoid the above mentioned symptoms of improper preservation.

I've been wanting to get some proper sleeves that are easy to insert back into the jacket and these are PERFECT for that. The fact that they don't have corners sticking out means your records go back into the jacket without getting stuck on the corners or anything. On top of that they have a really nice feel to them that gives me confidence they won't scratch up my records after continuous use.

These inner sleeves for 7 inch vinyl records (AKA 45s) are great. They are super thin but they hold up well. They do a fantastic job at the protecting the record from static, dirt and dust while still being thin enough to fit into those paper outer sleeves they come in without damaging the outer sleeve.Very solid record protection.
