I was concerned, when opening my laptop, to discover that this battery looked very different from the original. My existing battery size was 56Wh versus the new one, which is a 42Wh. The original battery was also quite a bit larger than the replacement. My laptop model was listed as one of the compatible ones in the Amazon listing.Despite that, I continued with opening my laptop, taking out the old battery, unplugging the connector and installing the new one. It fit fine and after putting the computer back together I charged the battery, unplugged my laptop and used it for three hours. I still have 60% charge left which left me satisfied that it would work for me.One thing to note is that the screwdrivers provided with the battery were too large for the small screws which are typical for this kind of installation. Fortunately I have a full set of small screwdrivers and used those instead. You would likely need to seek out the appropriate size for your laptop or you'll strip the screws and end up needing to take it to a repair shop.

Bought this battery for my Dell laptop and it quit taking charges after less than a year of use. Think I'll pay more for a Dell battery and get more use for my money.

My old Inspiron 7586. Artery was toast- swollen and would die in about 5 minutes for the charger. I decided to source a replacement.This one had a great price for battery replacement. It fit perfectly, and I didnรขโฌโขt have any compatibility concerns. Functionally itรขโฌโขs the exact same as the original was when new. Charge speed was noticeably better than the defective original one, and full charge was done in about an hour (note the battery came partially charged). If there are any issues regarding longevity, Iรขโฌโขll update accordingly.

Easy to install, the battery had died in my computer and was thinking of getting a new one until I started googling and seeing videos on how to change out the battery..........figured I had nothing to lose. Went on Dell and with shipping the battery was $130, didn't want to spend that much incase I messed up. Found this battery on Amazon and after reading reviews decided to give it a try. Well low and behold I did it:-) Everything is working great and love having a battery that lasts. Worth the $$, easy to install.2017 Dell Inspiron 15, 5000 series (only difficulty was removing the back cover due to the CD.
