This works perfectly with our 22-foot travel trailer. The original was dragging on the roadway after I lowered the tongue a bit. This one keeps it up off the roadway while providing a sturdy break-away safety cable. The end connectors are super strong. Great buy.

The factory cable that came with our trailer was a little long and it hung down with no way to really get it out of the way. I like the way this coils up and doesn't sag. It's pretty snug when it's installed, but I think that's a good thing because if the hitch should fail you would want the brake to apply even though the safety chains were still attached. There was so much slack with the original that that would not have happened. The split ring was difficult to attach to the switch, mostly because of where the switch is located, but now that it's installed the carabiner makes it easy to attach to the bumper hitch. The RV places want over twice as much for essentially the same thing, making this a great value.

It eliminates tangles and kinks in regular cable. I have not used it yet, hope it is stainless, with all the salt here in the north.

When I first took it out of the package I thought it was going to be too short, but once I got it installed it's a perfect length. The carabiner makes it easy to securely clip onto the cargo eye in my pickup bed. The "keyring" on the brake end is a pain, but once it's on, it's on.

I like that the cable doesn't drag but it was definitely not 6 feet long. I had to use a couple quick links to accommodate. Order a 2 pack.
