I’m sure this is ok part but it turns out a 2010 Corolla does not use this part. I am now suspecting that the noise is from the intermediate steering shaft. It is unfortunate that Amazon listed this as a part that fits a 2010 Corolla.

The product looked and felt like an oem dampener. It fixed a ratting noise when steering and hitting bumps.Currently 1 week with no issues. This part fit 2015 toyota camery with electrical steering motor.
