Purchased this to dry drill four holes for anchoring hand rail on stairway. Two holes were in a four inch slab and the other two were 10" deep, 2" of precast concrete and 8" of solid concrete. This little guy was able to get all four holes completed and still have a bit of life left in the bit. I only used the centering bit to get the larger holes started and then I removed it. I'm sure if I weren't drilling through "old" concrete with nasty hard aggregate it would last longer, but for this price, it served its purpose well. Because the bit only has about 2.5" to 3" of depth, it did require me to stop drilling, break loose the core (which usually was broken off already) and remove before continuing to drill. These holes were down into concrete, I had to stop frequently to remove dust/debris and let the bit (and hammer drill) cool down. My guess is this would be a real asset in drilling horizontal holes through brick and concrete block.

Conecction rood was missing, it is like having a car with no gas y can’t move. Very disappointing.

I bought this to drill through my concrete basement wall. I needed to run 2" schedule 40 through it so I could use it as a conduit for pex lines, so I gave this a shot. It took about 3 hours, including breaks, of going after it (leaned down into a trench) but eventually it got through. After about every 1.5" I chiseled the middle chunks out and went back to drilling. The pilot bit was pretty unimpressive, but it worked well enough to get the outer bit started. After that I pulled the pilot out until I needed it to verify I was on a straight track. I drilled through 8" of 75 year-old concrete and the outer bit was still chewing through it just fine at the end.All in all, it was a cheap tool, and there are probably many better options, but for the price and the fact I'll use it once, this bit worked well enough I'd recommend it. What I wouldn't recommend is drilling through 8" of old concrete lol.

The GUICGOC 160mm Concrete Hole Saw has been an excellent tool for my concrete drilling projects. The tungsten carbide teeth are incredibly tough and cut through concrete smoothly and efficiently. The SDS Plus shank makes connecting to my drill easy, and the 220mm length provides just the right reach for deeper holes. Despite its heavy-duty nature, it’s surprisingly easy to handle and doesn’t create too much vibration. It’s well-built and performs exactly as expected, making it a great choice for anyone needing a solid concrete hole saw for tough jobs.

I bought 2 just in case, because I was drilling through an inch of stucco and a concrete wall. I thought the concrete block would only need cutting through the smaller concrete sections of the block. Unfortunately the wall I chose was adjacent to the window and they had filled the block with some sort of concrete filler. So I ended up drilling through almost a foot of concrete.I handled it with just one of the 2 bits, never needed the second bit at all. I did not need to use water to cool the bit, I just gave it a 5 minute rest every inch or 2, as much for my drill as for the bit.I was happily surprised with the quality, since it was very affordable.I highly recommend!

Decided to give the 4 1/2†hole saw a try with the goal of achieving better round cuts on the pavers were it meets the 4†drain pipes. I have seen more expensive units at Home Depot but thought I’d give this cheap one a try first. I started off using it with a battery power bosh SDS drill but it kept over heating trying to drill through a 2 3/8†paver. I went ahead and bought an electric SDS drill and man did this thing just eat through the paver creating the perfect round cut. I have used it on 3 pavers and it achieved a perfect cut on all of them. Unit has already paid for its self so will keep buying it for all my projects when needed. Highly recommend using with a 13AMP minimum electric SDS drill for best results.

Low quality and good for a buy-use and throw away. Weak metal shank distorted and bit became dull in 5†of concrete while using a lot of water and proper speed. Pay low and get low.

Used this bit to core a hole for my Radon system. This size was absolutely perfect for 4" pipe, just make sure you have a strong enough drill. I found that drilling a few smaller holes around the perimeter helped the bit chew though easier. Overall for the cost of this bit I cant complain at all, it did the job and it was cheaper than renting one. That is a win in my books.

Took time but was able to drill through my 4" concrete floor as well as the stucco and header on the sill plate. I used a 6A hammer drill which was a bit on the small side but worked. You will Absolutely need a hammer drill. Don't even try it without.
