I bought this to hang up in my bedroom. It’s very large and laminated, but I was able to hang it up by myself using just a few thumb tacks. I’m trying to learn more about the countries that I hear about on the news, and this makes it so easy to visualize where a place is.

My 6 year old son had starting asking a lot of questions about other places around the world lately, so we both decided he needed a world map for his room. This map is the biggest and best one-piece map you can buy for what I felt was the best price. It's laminated, which means it'll never rip. I hug it on the wall with 12 Command strips (5 across the top and bottom, 2 on the sides) and it is holding up nicely. You definitely need 2 people to hang it because it is sooooo big. It came in a 4" wide box and was in perfect shape when it arrived, no issues there. My favorite features are the ocean areas, which show the ridges and shallow areas, and the US and Canada have state divisions. It is also very colorful, which helps when you live in a rental and can't paint the walls his favorite color, blue. He loves his map, I am very happy with it too.

This is beautiful and ginormous! We love this but wish it could have been laminated thicker. Its so big that when putting it up the edge tore immediately. I didn't expect it to be so large but we love this and put it in the hallway. The kids are easily able to find places as well. This is a great product that could only be made better by having a thicker laminating process!

Nice size world map with ocean and land topography included. The colors are bright and the names are readable. The map came in a paper roll, and I pinned it on the wall to flatten it out and then later got some lightweight plastic trim (white, to match the white border) and tacked that up on the drywall. The map is paper and the trim plastic, so the nails (with ridges) hold it up sufficiently with no anchors needed.My only complaint is that the states in the United States are difficult to make out except with a magnifying glass, and sometimes the names of countries (in all caps) are smaller than the names of cities. It's a little confusing at first, and some, like Puerto Rico, show no city names or capitals at all. But overall, a very nice map. It is just laminated paper, so it tears easily. I tore a small hole in putting it up on the wall, but thankfully, it was in the white border which I covered with the plastic trim.

Wonderful map! We have it mounted in the office and everyone stops and studies it! We should use more maps and limit our vision of the GPS world!

I was so excited about this map purchase. I teach 4th grade social studies and refer to maps everyday in order to instill geography skills. As far as maps go, it’s great. It’s easy to read and large enough for my entire classroom to read.I purchased the laminated version. I justified the purchase thinking it would last for many years. Unfortunately, it didn’t even last me hanging it up! Even with assistance hanging it up, the map tore in three places. I used extra wall putty to try to keep it in place. When I came in my class the next day, it had fallen and ripped even more. Now it is too torn up to even display. I was able to use it exactly one time.If you are a teacher, you know that if something is TRULY laminated then it should not tear. This map is not truly laminated. By “laminated†they mean “heavy gloss finish that just makes it heavy and difficult to hang but does not serve the purpose that lamination is meant to serve.â€Super disappointed. I can’t afford to replace it and the one I have is too torn up to even display. Teachers, don’t waste your hard earned salary!

I bought this for my aunt and she liked it a lot. My parents asked for the same map for Christmas, so I bought them the same one. However, the map was damaged on delivery. I contacted the seller and they gave me a refund immediately. I'm impressed.
