I used this to splice into my Toyota lines. To replace the whole line to the junction would be a lot of bends and routing over gas tank etc. quick fix no leaks.

The product was made of steel which made it usable as a brake line union that would withstand the very high pressures in the brake line.

This part joins 2 brake lines with "Bubble" type ends. It does NOT have inverted flares inside of it. The parts are Zinc plated so they won't rust and the threads are solid so it tightened up nicely. no brainer here to join 2 brake lines

We have used several without issue. Note they are steel and not brass nor are they cad plated as the picture may suggest.
