I got these to use outdoors, hence the need for stainless steel shaft and aluminum handles. The threads are cleanly cut and work perfectly in a 1/4"-20 nut, not always the case with foreign made goods. Be careful to use stainless steel nuts/connectors to avoid galvanic effect and corrosion. They are a bit of overkill and costly for interior use as one can purchase roughly twice as many non-stainless models for the same price. But for outdoors, these are perfect! The red handles make thtem look very sharp, too.

If your project requires a heavy-duty or a high quality 1/4" thumb screw, this is what you want. These have a 1/4" stainless threaded stud, with a nice red anodized aluminum head that would go well with any high quality project.

These are just what they look like and work really well. All 4 thumbscrews are well made, threads are clean and well cut. Nice replacement for missing one on a camera tripod. Easy to use. Overall these are good and I recommend them.

This is a good quality set of knobs that function very well. Threads are clean, and the plastic handle is easy on the fingers.

Glue is weak and disengaged almost immediately.

Great thumbscrews with a smooth finish. The ¼-20 threads seem to be machined well and mated well with my DSLR camera base. These would be great for such optical applications, as well as a myriad of other uses around the shop. The anodized aluminum knob looks good and has a nice feel. No complaints so far. I only needed one and so, the others are kept on standby and I’m sure they’ll eventually be put to good use.
