At then time of this review you can buy this packet of four replacement waterproof control buttons for heated clothing for around £7.69My heated jacket that has three heating levels, stopped working.I unpicked the lining and found that it stopped working not becasue one of the wores had broken, that would have been an easy fix, but no, because it was a wire on the back of the control button had snapped where it actually connected to the button.I had stopped buying things from ebay a long time ago, so much rubbish.My experience with Aliexpress was also negative , things just didnt match the description or photo and their customer service was awful.i thought i would give ebay another go as i found an exact replacement for what i needed for under £4, i waited a week and what i received was a four gear button ( four wires at the back) not a three gear with three wires and not what was on the photograph, after a few days of haggling they sent a full refund.I ordered a three gear button from a UK based ebay supplier and that took a week to arrive, same problem they sent a four gear button which does not work with my jacket... another refund after haggling.I then found this listing on Amazon, more expensive for a button but the pack actually contained four switch/buttons.i stripped back the wires on the jacket, ordered some solderless waterproof connectors that shrink and seal with heat..i wrapped the bare wires around each other and used a heat gun on the conenctors to make it shrink, connect and be waterproof, that part of the job was done and the button works perfectly well.that just left the prblem of connecting the button back to the jacket.The fabric glue would not stick to the silicone flange on the button to the polyester of my jacketThe fabric glue did create a barrier on the inside of my jacket around the edge of the hole that the button poked through.I then used superglue on the silicone flange and glued that to the bonded area made by the fabric glueso far so good...if you are thinking of buying a pack of these, they arrived exactly as described and i would recomend them, more expensive than just buying one from ebay but the pack arrived next day and i actually receiuved what i ordered ( okay 4 of them but at least they were the right product )i hope the review provides a bit more relevant information and is helpful
