I use lever lock connectors for most of the undertable wiring on my train layout. These basically cut the the wires I have to string in half. Two similar devices, such as lights, can be connected to common leads without soldering. You get perfect electrical insulation, and it is easier to remove and replace a dead or defective device without desoldering or removing a wire nut, or worse a crimp connector. I like them and will buy them again, as needed.

Unit worked great, getting the legs on the connector and then to the rail was a pain but would stop me in the future

Been using these in junction/light boxes as an alternative to wire nuts and they are so much handier. Power in, power out, power to light. Can wire all the power in and out first, and then add the lights later, even. I've been using them on both 120 volts ac and 12 volts DC.

It's a good product but the grip is not great, the wire slips out and gets loose its mediocre decent product not great wouldn't reccomend
