I have problems gripping most tools these days, and these files have a fantastic handle to grip. There's a variety of files in different sizes and shapes for a wide variety of uses. The files seem to be well made with deep grooves and a hard metal construction so they should last for some time to come. The sheets of sandpaper that came with are a perk/bonus but did not factor into my decision to order. I would expect to pay the current package price for just one file, not a set of four.Based upon my experience so far, I would definitely order these again and without hesitation. They are good, solid tools that should last for some time to come.

I ordered this file set for my “Go Box,†containing the essential tools I take to every job. Even though I consider files to be one of those essential tools, I have limped along with a couple of old files from my dad. The features I like most about this set are as follows.First, the handles are a comfortable size, which gives me greater control of the tool.Second, this set of files gives me the variety I need for various situations because it contains four shapes (i.e., flat, round, half-round, and triangular).Third, I am impressed with the quality of the product compared to the asking price.An added bonus was a 12-piece set of various grits of sandpaper. If you haven’t priced sandpaper recently, you may not be aware of how nice a perk that is.I am delighted with this file set. I tried each file on a small project, and they all performed as expected. The product matches everything the seller claims, and I think other buyers would be similarly satisfied.

Used in baseboard and crown molding cope joints to clean up. Rat tail especially useful in following profile on the baseboard & crown.Con: With that name I thought it would be made in Japan - its China.

With the exception of the half moon these are all wonderfully looking. The half moon has a small lip on the back end, the flat side, and the handle looks like it was crammed in as you can see stress marks on the plastic.Other than that, these are all a nice selection. It will make it easier as I have been using a rasp, and needing gloves, but not having sufficient ones causing issues.

This is the perfect set of files for a new homeowner or beginner that needs something for edges. I purchased this set for my daughter, just to have something in her garage when needed.

This is a nice set of files that include very good handles. The file shapes are great to use on a variety of different tasks and surface areas. The quality of the files is good and they appear to be hardened as they should be. Seller included a case and what appears to be some complimentary dressing paper to clean up the files after use. I think these files will be a handy and useful addition to my tool set. Very nice.
