Who knew!? There are charcoal filters that are inside the fan system of our Maytag microwave. These fit perfectly, but do note how the old ones fit before removal. That way you won’t guess on which way to install.

My microwave range over my stove has two types of filters. On the bottom is the grease filter that catches trhe cooking grease in the air. The other on the TOP of the microwave are the charcoal filters that help remove odors from the cooking smell. These of course are the pair of charcoal ones and they are sized and function as hoped. Check your Model # people. Loses 1 star because mine came in in plastic pouch Amazon surpringly didn't put it in a cardboard box like they do most stuff. as a result one of my filters was bent ont he thing aluminum frame. Still works though.

Replacing these charcoal filters, along with cleaning/replacing your grease trap filter, makes a huge difference in fan efficiency for blowing out smoke or cooking odors. The description didn't have my particular model number, but the measurements were correct - it is slightly longer than my OEM filters, which I expected, but works just as well. Such a great multi-pack, pic included is what it exactly looks like!

This is a high-quality replacement filter. It's solidly made and seems just as good as what I'd get from the manufacturer. Fit perfectly, does the job, and I don't see any reason to pay more.
