I had a set of dumbbells that the clips had been lost for so they were useless. Due to the necessity of needing to lift in these COVID times, I decided I'd see if there was a way to replace the clips. I found that there were very few options when it came to dumbbell clips and manufacturing differences meant the clips wouldn't fit all dumbbell bars. The seller emphasizes the importance of measuring the bar diameter before buying and I will re-emphasize that as well: I measured mine and thought it could be 1" but it was honestly a little less than that so I'm glad I resisted the temptation to buy 1" clips that were easier to find. I just tried these now and they fit perfectly, taking a little bit of effort to get on and off (which is good) My dumbbell set has been rescued, and I am grateful the seller emphasized to me the importance of measuring before buying.

While they are pretty much what they claim to be, I cant get them past the threaded part of my 1 inch bar, so maybe that has to do with my bar specifically, I don't know, but I have not been able to use them.

This is the first set of clips that actually hold the weights on my 1" threaded bars. I've tried clamps and other brands of clips. This was a last ditch effort and it paid off. They are VERY tight so squeezing them on may require you turning them like a nut on a bolt further on the bars, but they get the job done and hold the weights on securely while still allowing you to semi quickly change weights as needed.

Did not fit and the "anti rust" metallic coating flaked off the first time I squeezed the clip. Made In China = Low Quality Junk.

This works perfectly as described , these 0.9" clips grasp the "skinny" versions of 1 inch bars - ones that are right near or way under 1" inch , my black CAP threaded barbell 14 inch handles and black CAP threaded triceps bar are the "skinny" type and would not work with regular standard 1 inch clips, but these 0.9 inch fits just fine.

unfortunately, it did not fit any of my 1 inch threaded bars and dumb bells... i have bought weider 1 inch clamps before and those fit my threaded bars perfectly... 4 stars because they did look of good quality

Unfortunately these clips didn't fit any of my standard bars. They were slightly too small for the bars on my bench, and slightly too large for the bars on my curl bar. This could be totally the fault of the curl bar and bench manufacturers, but I will never know. I just know that I didn't get much use out of these. Price was great though so I'm not too bothered.
