These generic belts fit and operate perfectly, and cost far less than the factory replacement part. Installation is easy, only a medium screwdriver is needed. Be sure to clean any debris off the roller brush and from the compartment while you have the vacuum apart.

As happened to others who reviewed this product, as soon as I installed one of these and started up the vacuum, the belt slipped off the shaft. I came to realize that it had nothing to do with the belt being too tight, but was due to the fact that the plastic had worn down in the area of the brush roller where the belt was supposed to ride. It's supposed to be crowned, which is what keeps the belt from moving side-to-side (you can Google roller crowning for an explanation of how this works.) Rather than ordering a new brush, I re-crowned the plastic by sanding it down to create a rounded high spot in the center of where the belt was supposed to ride. Wearing leather gloves, I held the roller by its freely-rotating end caps, and pressed it up against a belt sander so that friction would make it spin. Then I used my thumbs to make the brush slow down (but not stop) to get an even sanding action. After angling it one way and then the other to create a new crown, I put the belt back on the vacuum, and was able to do extensive vacuuming with no further slipping off.

Belt is a generic replacement for my Hoover vacuum cleaner. I already had to install it and works fine so far. It's a better value than buying in a store and getting 2 in a pack.

I have two Hoover Windtunnels, Models UH30601 and C1703-099. These belts were exact replacements for both. The part number on my original belt was 38528-033. These are not OEM Hoover belts but they are the exact same size.

I got bit buying these. 5 of something of inferior quality isn’t worth it.I was thrilled to get these and get my vacuum running again. I put it on and zap, less than one minute in with a new belt.I examined the belt and noticed the rubber was thin in places and thick in others. All 5 of the belts were like this. What do I know about quality in vacuum cleaner belts? When I was a teenager, I worked in a vacuum cleaner repair shop after school for years - here I am, 25 years later, and like anyone else, looking to save money and use my old skills. Well, I lost money and time, and it bothers me enough to type this out and maybe save you the same disappointment.Lessons like this remind me to seek quality, even in something as silly as a vacuum cleaner belt.

You would be hard pressed to find a better price for vacuum belts. Attached the first one today. It was tight and a bit difficult to get on, but eventually I succeeded and it works like a charm. Would recommend.
