Airmont Products Stud Support Shoes for Double Studs
Easily reinforce wood studs that have wiring or plumbing passing through with this heavy-duty support stud shoe. Crafted from premium quality galvanized steel, this stud shoe is designed to be nailed onto a double wood stud to reinforce the studs when large holes were drilled through.
Large indent allows room for pipes up to 2-3/8" in diameter.

Needed it for my kitchen remodel/renovation work. Inspector required this as previous home builder left a vent pipe very close to the stud. Although I only needed one, it was prime shipping and opted to buy it at a premium. worked perfectly as expected.

I only use these hangers when I’m getting an inspection that requires them. They work great and fit good. Some Inspectors require them.
