Bought these to attach my round downspouts to the house. yea they rust if not painted but it kind of looks cool with my galvanized gutters.

The quality is poor and more importantly I ordered 1" dia, bag said 1" dia, but in fact are 1-1/4" dia so useless.

So, I do understand that these are for pipes which have a slightly larger outside diameter than 2â€. With that said, I was using them for a project where they needed to fit snugly against a metal 2†pipe which has an actual outside diameter of 2.3†(pretty standard size) if memory serves and these have about a 0.25†of slop around this pipe closed as snugly as possible. Completely loose.They appear well made, and otherwise work as advertised, but I guess I would have assumed that the point of the clamping screw would be to snug the split ring around the pipe so that it doesn’t rattle about. So all I would say is if you are buying these for anything other than hanging pipe (and don’t care that the pipe is not securely clamped) then just be mindful that the interior diameter of these clamps is something more in line with about 2 3/8â€.

Had a great experience ordering this product. Really quick shipping and the product came as expected. Mounted it to my flag pole and clipped my flag to it to replace a cheap plastic piece that broke do to drying out and cracking from the sun.
