I have several KastKing Spinning reels and thought I'd help out other KK customers.I needed a replacement for my KastKing Spartacus II (Silver) model 3000. I have a few of these so I removed a functioning OEM to show the comparison.Kasteco on the left in the pic, OEM KK on the right.Main difference is shown by the red arrow. The Kasteco does not have the same depth as there is a bit more plastic at the base. This may end up a good thing since that is exactly where my original broke, but it does seem to seat slightly further away from the reel body vs the OEM. It's not a water tight seal anyway, and did not create any functional issues when in use. I didn't even notice it until taking pics for this review. Snugged the handle to the body nicely with no wobble.You must use the "paper washer", shown with the green arrow from the original. If you lost your paper washer, you may need to go back to KastKing (they do sell every part, you just need to be very specific on what you need, I checked with them before deciding to take a chance on the Kasteco).Hope this helps. I was quite happy it worked so thought I'd share. Keep in mind, this is a plastic part but saved an otherwise good reel from the trash can for $7. I tested on the following:Spartacus II 3000, Silver (replace broken cap fine, fished a full day with no issues)Spartacus II 2000, Green (Replaced the OEM for test fit, seems to work fine)Centron 500, Blue (Replaced the OEM for test fit, seems to work fine)Sharky III, 3000 DOES NOT APPLY, different handle config, screw cap is simply a cover with no post.

Fits most of my reels, just not the one I needed to. I tried to take one off my other reels for my 8000 and they are all the same, too small for my 8000. I’ll keep them in my tackle.

Used on older Abu Garcia 401i spinning reel. Factory part no longer available. Works great!

These were supposed to fit reels made by Mitchell, but were a complete fail. Not even close to the size and thread pitch. They should change their description and let people know what their product does actually fit rather than advertise that it fits a product that it doesn't. Gave the product one star only because I couldn't give it zero stars.

Lost the handle grip, vibrated loose and fell under floor in friends boat. Not the first and may not be the last. Turned out this product was a perfect fit for my Shakespeare Agility Reel, not the most expensive reel I have, but its my go to trout reel, casts like a rocket. Thought I may have to scrape it until I found this product. Great product!
