If you ever fell of a roof and lived to tell about it then you are one of the lucky ones. Roof anchors should always be considered when working on your roof. With a good quality rope harness and these hooks you should never have to tell a story of falling off a roof. Great design and very thick and durable as advertised. I like the hole placement design. I'm no physics or engineer nerd, but I think the staggered holes make for a more secure anchor. No complaints with these anchors.

Just got these, not sure if I will use them or return them. Hard to know if I can trust these to hold my weight in a fall, if they were steel I the thickness would seem sufficient, but being that they are aluminum I’m a bit worried they will snap when I need them the most.

The dimensions on these flat bar shaped anchors are easy to work with, attaching to roof is easy. The elevation curve is comfortable to get ropes under and through, or to clip in a thick carabiner. The finish seems thick. The steel bar stock is about 1/8 inch (3.1mm) thick.

I have not needed to use these yet but I keep them in the work truck for the roofs we don't have any way to tie onto for safety. A lot of the roofs in CO are steep to keep the snow off and after working on a house with limited tie points, I got these for the next project.

I built a 4'x8' chicken coop and bolted these to the frame of the roof and used a cable to between them and 2 3' long augers in the ground. Keeps my coop secure and it doesn't shake and tip in these high winds we get.

Got these to add to my 3 story roof for fall protection. The anchors are thick and sturdy, and I have no concerns of their quality for edge protection. I would not use them as a rappelling anchor, partially due to the angle they sit at (which is convenient to keep your rope/carabiner directly off the deck) but they work well for adding a tag line while working at height.
