This cable does not match the junction box wiring of the seven pin vehicle connector. One wire in the harness cable is black going to the left stop/directional light and is to be attached to the terminal with a red wire labeled "stop/directional" in the "J" box. Other than that, the wire in the cable assembly is quality stranded copper. It is well insulated and easy to work with.
