I recently had to replace my lunched out rusted up trailer hitch on my 2002 Silverado. And I upgraded to super heavy duty. My new hitch didn't have a mounting provision for the trailer wiring plug, so I did like many do and I decided to relocate mine to the flat spot to the left of my license plate. This trailer socket is the perfect product to do that modification with. Be aware that the bumper is really thick and you will probably murder your 2" hole saw much the same way I did, but after the job was done, the install was clean and now I don't have a trailer plug socket hanging off of the bottom of my bumper where it could easily get damaged, it is protected and it is safe and looks like a super clean installation.

Well I needed a replacement for my 2018 GMC Sierra 2500. This thing fit like a glove. No complaints whatsoever. Easy. Very easy plug and Play. I didn't even have to drill. All I did was remove old screws. Put new screws in perfect fit.

I had the cover on my old cable connector break and bought this to replace it. Easy to install and works great.

This was supposed to be a direct fit for my 2006 F150. It was not so I had to clip all the wires from the plug-in connecter and rewire to my existing wires. A pain in the butt. Other than that it is a well made product.

Fit perfect & looks great too. Only problem is that Jeep has a sham where you have to have them program the lights to work through the factory module, basically making you pay for the tow package even though it was bought and paid for yourself, otherwise you'll need to buy the tow wiring kit with your own module and bring power directly from the battery yourself. Otherwise, perfect aftermarket connection that interfaces with OEM plug.

Plugged right into the factory connection on an Audi Q7 with tow package. The mounting holes on the part didn’t quite line up to the holes on the car though.

It does not fit a 2012 Acadia. My metal bracket was a round one, so I needed the twist-on one. I still kept it, I simply drilled holes. It is nice to have a 4 pin connector separate. I now use it to plug in the CR-007 red brake light. The wires are nice and somewhat heavy gauge. nice compound at both ends to seal the connections.
