This has held up for over 1,000 miles on my trailer so far. This option is much cheaper than putting together your own cable from a hardware store, not to mention the coil is convenient as you’re able to store it without wrapping excess cable around your tongue jack. Can’t get any better with this one, great product and great value!

cable works good however deducted a star because carabiner needs to be bigger doesn't fit on tow hitch

I purchased this as it was advertised as a 6’ cable. It is closer to 4’ when fully stretched out. The ring and clip at the end were not of quality I was expecting but would probably be adequate. I need the length or it will be of no use to me. Will have to go back to original cable.

The cable appears well made. The cable is "dipped" and is completely covered. Price is "ok" for what you get. I place a heavier keyring and Carabiner to fit the brake pin and attach to the hitch. The included carabiner was way too small . The key ring was light duty and when stress tested, began to give way before the brake controller pin engaged. Since I had both desired attachments, it did not cost me to upgrade to what I felt was more safe to use. The cable is similar to a midvalue bike lock cable. The cable uncoiled without kink and when stretched did not fatigued. it worked as expected.
