While most commonly used for masking purposes during finishing, there are hundreds of other uses around the shop, home, lab, classroom, etc. This superior grade of silicone is capable of withstanding temps up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315 Celsius) for 20 minutes and holds up to most chemicals. Very disappointed in this item. Got them home and tried to put them on my RipStix and they wouldn't even go on or stretch .... waste of my $.....
