While most commonly used for masking purposes during finishing, there are hundreds of other uses around the shop, home, lab, classroom, etc. This superior grade of silicone is capable of withstanding temps up to 600 degrees Fahrenheit (315 Celsius) for 20 minutes and holds up to most chemicals. It is ultra tough yet flexible, reusable and will not crack, harden, shrink or break over time. In the past our dishwashers’ prongs get rusted and “bloom†causing yellowish spots on white ceramic.These protectors fit our new dishwasher and have the added benefit of holding dishes firmly in place.

Very unconventional review but I used these for a stainless steal “dabber†that got too hot during use. This size fit perfectly on this standard dab tool for a titanium nail. Hoping this helps someone else in terms of size reference.

50 Piece 3/16" ID High Temp Silicone Rubber End Caps: I bought these to use as end caps on my ham radio portable antennas. See pic. They just happen to fit perfectly, keeping aluminum elements from scratching everything in sight, especially me. After a few months some pieces fell off so I used cyanoacrylate glue to put them back on. So far, so good. They don't affect the antennas' performance and they improve their appearance too.

I used these to cover the bolt inside drawers after replacing drawer pulls. Works great and I don't have to worry about damaging clothing.

I like the idea behind the product but unfortunately this cap did not handle the pressure and/or heat. I’ll try again in hopes that, that particular cap was defective.
