I needed to cover some landscape, low-voltage wiring connections. The connections were soldered. I used these to cover the soldered connections, and by partly filling them with silicone adhesive before installation, I could insure a completely waterproofed connection. Slick!

Work great as covers for my nailguns. They slide on easily and tightly, and keep sawdust from entering the tool while sitting around. A touch of air-tool oil makes it even easier, which is inevitable if you oil your tools (like you are supposed to). For the oil-less tools I just touched a tiny amount to the outside of the connector, which made the silicone ends go on/off even easier. Much better solution than the $10 caps with leash made specifically for this use, and with 50 in a bag, I can afford to misplace them. One could even make a quick leash with a ziptie or something.

So many times I've come close to walking into the ends of my large TV antenna on the roof. I've even put duct tape on some of the ends so I could see them (hard t do against the sky). This week I almost took my eye out walking into one of them while doing cooler maintenance on the roof. These are the perfect size to cover all the ends of the antenna array. While one can still get poked in the eye, the soft rubber won't do as much damage as the sharp aluminum. and it's easier to see them now.

I should have listened to the reviewer who said that these are NOT the color that is advertised. I really wanted the teal color, but these are definitely dark green, not the real color as shown.I am disappointed, but I am not going to go through sending them back. The company needs to revise the posting or sell the item shown.If you want teal, don’t buy this one.Otherwise, they are as advertised, and they shipped quickly. Just wish they were what I ordered.
