I am using this 3x6 ft shade cloth to create some dappled shade from the morning sun on my porch. As you can see from my picture this is 90% shade cloth, meaning you still can see somewhat through because it is woven and not a sun blocker cloth. This shade cloth has very strong grommet and stitching which is a plus for TX winds. It also comes with tying strings which is nice to have if you are in a less windy climate. Overall I am pleased with the product and going to enjoy my cup of coffee without getting cooked by the sun.

This is a nice weight and size to reduce hot sun in my garden. It's the right size to shade a 6' garden bed, is light enough not to flap too much in the wind, and, has nice grommets on all sides. Only thing missing is I wish it had rigid corners so the corner grommets didn't pucker up together when I use two of them.

Perfect size shade cloth for my raised-bed garden. The edge binding looks very sturdy and should hold up nicely in our brutal and windy summers. Grommets are well-attached, and shade cloth came with amply long cords to secure the shade cloth to my tomato cages.

We have a strawberry patch with over 200-plants in our backyard in Southern California. The weather is sunny 99% of the time, so in the summer the patch needs to be shaded from the harsh sun. This 3-foot tall 30% shade screen has turned out to be the perfect solution. We stretched a wall of the fabric alongside a row of strawberry plants as a test. We plan to add more fabric netting. We are very pleased with this shade cloth.

This 3x8' 50% shade cloth will be a curtain in my new little green house. The grommets will go on an 8' curtain rod across the sunniest side of the house, where the bench is. When not in use it will be secured to one side with binder clips.I've never used shade cloth before so I can't really compare this to others. I was surprised by the loosness of the weave. Maybe they're all like that. But I couldn't foresee it lasting long in hard outdoor use, with our winds. I'm not using this one outdoors, but just sayin', since it's meant for outdoors.

We live in Las Vegas and moved into a house last year where the small lawn in the back was dead from the sun and no care. We are using these to help provide some partial relief to the lawn during the really long hot days of summer.The grommet and stitching for them is really strong, which will be needed with the strong winds we get here. This comes with some rope to tie into your anchor of choosing.

I specifically ordered a 3ft x 6ft shade cloth for a project. But unfortunately this arrived oversized at 40 x 75 which hangs out beyond the dimensions I required. Also, there are only 6 grommets for the whole thing spaced out over 3 ft apart. For me, being oversized was a problem, but for someone else this might be just fine. But I think the grommet spacing should be closer, somewhere between 18" to 24".
