This was a nice heavy woven fabric. It does tare if you don't use the plastic grommets.

This shade cloth had worked wonders for my garden! It's been an extremely hot, record-breaking spring and summer where I live. My plants were struggling to grow and my tomatoes couldn't set fruit. I added this shade cloth and all of a sudden my plants started growing again, and I have tons of small tomatoes that set during our 103 degree heat wave! Was very easy to cut to length and set up. Not sure of the durability yet but so far it seems sturdy and had lasted through several wind storms.Definitely recommend!

This is exactly what I needed to put on the PVC protection "boxes" I make for my plants/trees. I just cut off sections the size I want. And the price (I don't know what it is now) was the best part of it. SO REASONABLE!!!!

I am trying to grow moss, and this year the heat and sun in my area of VA have been brutal. After reading several posts on growing moss, there was a recommendation to us shade cloth. It seems to be doing the trick. Lets enough light through, without burning the moss.It also helps me retain moisture after watering. So far so good - will report back in once the moss has really taken off (fighting Mother Nature is a challenge, but right now over 80% of my lawn has been converted to moss). Moss takes less moisture than grass, you don't have to mow it...just keep the deer off of it!

Horrendous winds this January 2025! This product helped protect my potted ornamental plants on my fully exposed upstairs deck which always gets hit terribly hard by the Santa Ana's...and this year was exceptionally brutal. It's rather lightweight, lighter than the plastic garden mesh I bought at my local nursery years ago; it's actually not as good, but it got the job done. What I do is place my plants, one by one, inside a trash bag and then wrap an outer layer of this mesh around it, secure with a simple twisty or zip tie and anchor it to a heavy wrought iron piece or something to stabilize it. Worked very well! Saved my plants 🪴 from getting beat up and wind-burnt! 💨ðŸƒðŸ˜Ÿ

Wanted some privacy for a cheap price. Used Velcro strips and landscape pins ! Can see out but can’t see in. Still a little more work to be done , but I love it.

I got this to shade my berries and it cut the heat back probably 20 degrees.

I purchased this shade cloth (60%) for the beginning of my vegetable growing season. It is perfect for shading newly planted (young) plants from being burned by the sun. It is very well made material. It does not have grommets to attach it to your structure, but I knew that when I bought it. I used zip ties to attach it, and even though there were no grommets, it did not rip or tear from the wind blowing. Overall, it is a well made product.
