Used size 5 for Alaska herring. Used 1/0 for SoCal mackerel. 2/0 makes a good sanddab or rockfish ganion. but look too big for most bait.

My wife and I like to fish off of the Oceanside pier and we go through two Sabiki rigs each trip. I like that we can purchase them in bulk at a decent price.These are a bit longer than the type we would buy locally, but that isn’t an issue at all. I have to say with this brand, we have had no issue keeping fish on the lines when reeling in.We will definitely continue to order as needed.Thanks for a great product!

Has plenty of hooks and the main line is strong. Use them to catch pacific mackerel here in S. Cali for bait. The problem is the snell knot used around the hooks breaks loose when shaking the bait off the hook unlike the other brands like Mustad, P-line, Hayabusa, etc

used these today. 6 rigs in a row broke off. the metal swivel at the rod end of the rig kept breaking. Was hooking small mackerel. Not much of a load.
