First. I never write reviews. First ever. Use case offshore trolling. NC Coast.I bought these as an impulse buy not knowing whether they would work. The first time we used them it did catch a Mahi but we caught a bunch that day and I wasn't sure that it mattered.Yesterday, we went 70 miles off, there was not a good bite. We were top fishing ballyhoo with no luck. I eventually reset, put in the teasers, dropped a downrigger, and put just one of these on my short rigger top bait ballyhoo.It hit, we picked up a Wahoo. It was the only fish we put on the boat all day. At the very least it would appear to improve your chances.Good luck. Tight lines.
