I used these in several jobs that I was working on but what I really like was adding a extinction to my rod holders with a threaded rod and threaded coupling put one on each end of your coupling once you have cut the threaded to length these work great TRY THEM

Dimensions and fit are proper. Surface finishes are polished to a shine. I found a pair of them to maintain resistance after removal and retorquing on a large battery mount. I'm quite pleased with them and their Metric counterparts I also acquired.

These fit well and seem to be the correct material. Of the 3 packs I purchased (150 pieces), approximately 10 pieces had their nylon coming out when I went to install them.I simply squeezed the nylon back into place with pliers and they all worked fine - but be aware.
