I often work on cars and when I saw these LBY 50pcs 1/4-28 Nylon Insert Hex Lock Nuts, 304 Stainless Steel (Silver), I had to have them. Due to the salt on the roads in my area, the cars often rot out, so having these stainless steel nuts ensures that they will never rust on you even when exposed to salt. These would be great for any moist or damp conditions since they are corrosion resistant. You get 50 nuts in the package. They are a great value for getting 50 of them since they are more expensive in box stores than buying them here now. I'd recommend them!

These are a very good quality stainless steel nylon insert nut, properly machined with quality material for a great fit and finish.Being stainless is really big deal as they will not rust or corrode, offering protection for years on outdoor applications and/or high salinity environments.The sizing is correct, nuts thread on perfectly and the nylon insert appears to be good quality, offering a solid feel when tightening.I'm really pleased with these nuts and I'm sure you will be as well. On many of my custom fabrication projects, I'll opt to utilize stainless steel nuts and bolts as although they're slightly more expensive, the long lasting aspect of stainless will always pay off, allow you to fabricate to a higher level, producing quality projects which will be enjoyed for many, many years.
