I really like this fan a lot. It's beautiful in it's design and and finish. I typically am not a fan of the LeD light but in this case the fixture is smaller than most I've seen and it has stepless diming by remote which is a great feature. The blades and motor are almost silent and you barely notice it's running. I have to listen very carefully when it's at low speeds and even then sometimes I can't hear it. I do have some hearing loss in one ear but can still hear very well with the other. I like the gold finish and the choice of blade color. Although the arms holding the blades are a unique design I have never had to replace a blade arm in the 40 years I've been dealing with ceiling fans unless one was damaged by some object hitting the fan blades. Not unique to this fan is the good balance in the blades. Years ago we always had to move weights around on the blades to get a good balance but modern fans today are so well balanced most don't even address balancing in the instructions anymore. Installation is easy for anyone who is a little bit handy around the house.

I really was hoping this would be a good looking effective fan, but first of all the wiring was messed up and I had to screw with it to separate the fan from the light function, it looks kind of cheesy but I was installing it in a game room so I wasn't that bothered by the cheap look... The kicker for me was when my dog "ate," the remote and as of the time of this review I still haven't heard back from the manufacturer when I requested a replacement.

My Review of the Iceilfan 52 Inch Black and Gold Ceiling Fan with Light, Modern 3000k-6500k 5%-100% Dimmable Led Ceiling Fans with Lights and Remote for Bedroom Living RoomThis fan looks good and blows a good amount of air. The motor is very quiet and there is no noticeable wobble. Every ceiling fan I have ever installed had some wobble so the lack of any was a surprise. The blades are on the smallish side and I didn't expect it to perform well. I was completely surprised at the air flow. This thing really moves some air. As for installation I can't say much good except that once it's done it works well. I have four ceiling fans in my house. I have lived here for over twenty years and have replaced them all at least once. This was the most difficult ceiling fan I have ever installed. The hole of the "keystone" slot on the canopy were too small for the screws so I had to take it apart and use a round file to enlarge the holes. Certainly not a horrible thing, but it was annoying. Once I got it all put together I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of airflow. The remote worked without needing to anything more than put two AAA batteries in it. I like bright lights and this doesn't disappoint in that area. When set to the brightest setting it is very bright! And it has softer light settings also but I won't use them. The fan is also very responsive to the remote. It gives you 1-6 speed settings and you can reverse the direction with the remote. That will come in handy during the colder months.

My first impression of this fan when I opened it, was the packaging. It's beautifully packed and there was no damage at all. Upon inspecting each piece, I was impressed with the quality. Nothing feels cheap about this fan and the gold finish is beautiful. The fan blades are dual color. Black on one side and brown on the other. They can be turned either way. The fan is very quiet and the 6 different speeds are a step up from the traditional 3 speed fans. The ability to change the lighting is very nice, too. The remote is very easy to use and comes with a wall mount. The remote can be removed from the wall mount just by lifting it out. Very impressed with this fan. I'm glad I found it.

I've installed a LOT of ceiling fixtures/fans. This one is no more difficult as installing a more expensive fans. The gold finish is nice, and from far away it almost looks bronze. The dimmable LED, and color from soft white to pure white is a feature I appreciate for reading books. This fan is MUCH quieter than any of the eight ceiling fans in our home. The timer function is nice so we don't forget to turn the fan off after going upstairs. The motor is reversible so when it'd cold outside, you can circulate the warm air in the room without chilling yourself. Try it, that really helps with heating cost. Usually fans have 3 speeds. This one has 6, which the fastest really moves air. It's a value. The only thing I'd change is to include a remote control holder that can be adhered to the wall switch plate or something.

This ceiling fan looks good and operates very quietly, but there is one major problem.The light features three user selectable "color temperatures" ranging from 3000k - 6500k. (1) Very harsh bright white, (2) bright white, and (3) soft white. The On/Off button on the remote control is used to cycle through these three selectable "color temperatures". The instructions state if you press the On/Off button within 10 seconds it will change the "color temperature". Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Instead, EVERY time you turn on the light it changes the "color temperature", even if you wait more than 10 seconds.If prefer the soft white color, but when I turn on the light it switches to the harsh bright white. I have to then turn the light On and Off two more times to get it to cycle back the soft white color. They should have provided a separate button on the remote to change the color temperature instead of using the on/off button.Their documentation says to contact them at their provided email address for support issues and they claim they will respond within 24 hours. I emailed them about the problem with the light changing color temperatures each time I turn the light on or off, thinking maybe my unit is defective. Unfortunately, after a week I have not received a response. It appears the support is nonexistent.
