Replacing the chewed-up coupler in my 2012 Elantra wasn't a breeze, but I know I saved a LOT of money by purchasing these, following youtube videos, & doing the work myself. It took me a couple of hours to do the whole job, but that's only because I was inexperienced at it & the steering pivot bolt was a monster to get broken loose(took a breaker bar to get it loose!). Overall I would recommend buying these at a great price & fixing your clunking Kia/Hyundai steering yourself.

This part is not too bad to install yourself ... Only need 1 so have one spare that I won't be able to find if the car lasts enough years for this one to wear ... Hopefully this one will never have to be replaced ... It almost seems like during the manufacturing process of the car oil got on the original part and over many years deteriorated it to spongy rubber that had a lot of slack! .... This is probably a $250-$300 job from dealer .. Thrilled fixed it for 6$

Bought 5 different aftermarket brands just because they are all cheap to choose best one. This one is similar to other low quality junk from my point of view useless injection molded parts with mold line imperfections., probably could of used it but decided not to trust low quality when there is good alternative,.. end up using APDTY brand... good quality
