My hobby came arrived sooner than expected and was in excellent condition. Price was good but I haven't had time to use the came in a project just yet but judging by its appearance I will purchase again in the future.

I LOVE this came! I just started doing Copper Foil projects recently; several books talked about making “suncatchers†or small projects with individual pieces of glass wrapped in lead and then soldered together. A local shop sold me something that was way too thick and not at all useful for this purpose, but when I received this came and tried it I knew instantly that this was the right product for the job. I don’t think this would be very good as a frame for a large pattern, which may be why some people are having problems with it. But for small patterns or even individual pieces of glass, this is PERFECT!

This light weight "hobby" lead came works fine in the right stained glass application. I am using it as a border for the mirror bottom on my boxes. I also twist it to make corner spiral accents on boxes. To twist it, clamp one end in a vise. Then grab the other end with a pair of pliers, and twist until you get the look you want. Rather than manually twisting, you can put the non-vise end in a drill, and use the drill to wind it.

This Hobby Came is fine, even though no measurements are listed but what I received was NOT round. I received flat-U came. Inside channel measures 5/32".

The lead came packaged well and it was easy to use. I use it for stained glass sun catchers. It arrived in a timely matter.

idk what the deal with this came is, but it’s SO flimsy and weak. you can barely stretch it without it getting distorted and breaking. spend the extra dollars and buy different came. thank god i’ve used good hobby came before , because if this was my first go at it, i would be so confused and frustrated.
