Does not fit any electrical cords in my house. It would have been helpful if the description had the measurement of the cord hole size and the size of the aperture it would fit into. Useless for what I need it for.

The product information does not specify wire size for this item. This will not work with lamp cords (18/2). I purchased for making lamps and was very disappointed. They may work with small flat computer wires like ribbon cables as long as there are not many conductors. I have to purchase Heyco 1124 or 1125 which are 1/2†diameter and actually specify the cord capacity.
