The first one came and was missing the magnetic insert inside - I was wondering why it wouldn't "grab" the old spark plugs. Did an exchange and the second one was perfect.Amazing price, and quality feels like it will last me a long long time. I used this to change out the spark plugs in my 5.0.

I have a Camry, a RAV4 and a Subi OB. I’ve only used the 5/8†and the 16 mm but it goes down and up the tube smoothly, the magnet doesn’t drop it and it releases well off the new plug. I like it. The carrying case is great, also, so they don’t get mixed up with my other sockets. Nice little set but I’m also just a DIY guy.

I needed to change the spark plugs on my 1998 Ford F-250. I lost my 5/8" spark plug socket with the rubber so I tried this with the magnet. It's a game changer, the magnet worked great on removal and install. Held the spark plug firmly the entire time. The socket looks strong enough to hold up to an impact gun but I'm not using one on spark plugs. Good Quality spark plug socket.

The socket works great , I used it on a 5.6 Titan the plugs were seized really bad no issues with the socket at all

I was using spark plug socket with rubber inners. They were either very tightly holding spark plugs that I was finidng very hard to remove after the spark plug is screewed inside well or most of the time, used to drop spark plugs straight into well and damage plug head. Sometime I used to put some papers to make the socket hold plug and then used to strugle to remove that paper from plug well. I saw these magnetic spark plug sockets the other day over amazon promotion page and ordered one. This is just a life saver, I am now feeling very safe and comfortable changing spark plugs without fearing to drop and damage the plug head. I definately recommend this product. Its definately a must have tool set.

Bought this because I have headers with limited spark plug access. Magnet socket with hex base is necessary to replace plugs.
