This set contains 2 camera lens hoods that are compatible with all 58mm lenses. It also contains a lens cap. Always verify your camera's lens thread size before ordering. The correct Ø diameter value can be found on the front of the lens or underneath the lens cap.
The lens hoods will block excess sunlight for enhanced photography and video footage. They will reduce lens glare and flare and boost the black in your pictures.
The rubber lens hood can be folded out in 3 steps to offer different levels of sun shading. Because the rubber lens hood can be fully collapsed, you can leave it on your lens so you can always use it when you need it.

While it gets the job mostly done the construction is very thick plastic and doesn’t look great when mounted. Most OEM lens hoods seem made of thinner plastic so don’t look as bad mounted. Also the threads are plastic so very easy to ruin by cross threading on the mounting ring. They can’t be mounted in reverse on the lens when pack away the gear you either leave it on or take it off all together.

I have a long zoom from wide angle to 60x optical. The tulip flower looks "cooler" but the collapsible rubber hood does more of what I want. Both hoods restrict (not unexpectedly) my wide angle shots. If I were to purchase again I would get an adapter for my 52mm lens threads, maybe up to 60mm, so that the larger diameter hoods would still allow wider angle photos.

I needed a basic hood for 2 Canon lenses with 52mm threads so I decided to give this set a try. The collapsible hood is fine, but the rubber is quite thin so it's hard to keep it entirely round and I have to watch for vignetting if it deforms. The molding on the plastic petal hood I received was particularly poor, with flash left on the side and uneven groove depth in the threads. You have to be very careful when installing on the lens to avoid cross-threading, but once on it works ok. You just need to make sure to hold the outer section of the petal hood in the correct orientation and spin the ring with the threads to tighten onto the lens, otherwise you'll over-tighten the filter if you reposition afterwards. So bottom line is that it's a cheaply made set of hoods for a cheap price, but will do the intended job if handled carefully.
