I used this to mount a Zev muzzle device to a .30 cal 5/8x24 threaded barrel. Worked great. Even fit inside the recessed lip of the Zev.

I did not have to use these shims, but they look like they would work ok as shims. Originally was going to use with crush nut to position a muzzle break on a rifle.
