I bought this to traverse over a small pond I am building to put water Lillies in. It was a LOT of screwing and bolting and the parts should be labeled with masking tape PRIOR to assembling! The posts MUST be in order - that part os important to know and the so do the arches they rest on. One thing there isn't are pre-drilled pilot holes. Please do the pre drilling prior to screwing the slats down on the walkway. Otherwise, the wood will split. I heard this potentiality when I used my first screw... and then from that point forward I predrilled. also buying a couple of shorter screws would be helpful because they collided with the bolts (you'll see what I mean when you begin the assembly) Otherwise, this bridge is SO much more quality than many I have experienced ...! You can't beat the price and on Prime..., well you get it...it's great! I got it in 2 days! The box is a cinch to carry btw...Not heavy at all. Took about 2-3 hours of methodical but not manic assembly time.

Luckily all the screws were there and it was relatively easy to put together. The stain on it will get on you so put it together outside. Works perfect for what I needed.

I received my garden bridge, and just over 1h 18m later it was put together. I have plenty of experience assembling boxed items, so I am fairly quick. I took the time to pre drill the horizontal rail braces, too, so they would not split (mentioned in a review). The bridge is exactly as described. The hand rails are not hand rails per se, but instead are decorative accents (other reviews indicated that was an issue). I read the specs, and they clearly stated 21", so that is what I expected. Overall I am impressed with this garden bridge.

Pretty good for the price. I have had to paint it because it faded. I gave it four stars for that. However, I would buy it again.

DO NOT UNBOX THIS INDOORS! There's all kinds of dirt and debris in the box. Also, the varnish rubs off. My hands were black just after taking everything out of the box. It then rubbed off on the rug I placed it on. If you have carpet or rugs, be careful. That's why I say not to unbox it indoors. The varnish rubbed off so much in a few places just from me trying to assemble it that it looks discolored in those areas. There are no pre-drilled holes for the screws. The walking planks are to be attached to the bridge supports by screws. The bridge supports are very narrow. If holes are not pre-drilled, then it will split the wood. Also, because they're not pre-drilled, it's difficult to tell exactly where you should drill the holes. The best way I could think of is to attach the 3 shorter planks first (their shorter because they go between the vertical supports). You can easily see where those go, then space out the other planks between them. But this would be very difficult because you can't tighten up the bolts until the entire thing is assembled. So you may need another person to hold the supports while you do all of this. For the shorter planks, the places where you need to screw them to the bridge supports are exactly where bolts are attaching the vertical supports. So if you center the planks on the vertical supports the way you're supposed to, there is not enough room for the screws to go in all the way.For the short plank in the middle, the screws would go exactly where the pieces of the bridge supports meet. The bridge supports thin out on one side or the other so you can join them together and they'll be the same thickness. Well, the screws for the middle walking plank would go right between the 2 pieces of would. How would that be secure enough to hold? It wouldn't.1 star. Would not recommend.

The wood are cheap quality, the bottom where you walk on are twisted after a while less than a year! Some of the screws which holds the bottom pieces to the frame are fell off and wood cracked. If you look for something last for few year and you could walk on then don’t buy this one

We purchased this little wooden bridge for our great grandchildren. It connects two lawns, and they get pleasure from walking across it.
