  • Outside dimensions: 72 x 57 x 12 mm, the mold has 3 rectangular slots and 2 round holes, suitable for melting and casting bars or coin metals, gold, silver, copper and other alloy tool steel, please check the size before purchasing
  • Different usages: graphite casting ingot mold can be applied for experiments and smelting of non-ferrous metals, including gold, silver, copper, aluminum, and so on, which can also be applied as graphite crucible melting into non-ferrous metals, test analysis, as the ingot mold and other purposes; Considering the size of this product, it is more suitable for small-capacity metal melting
  • Works well: nice thermal stability for withstanding 2000 degrees Celsius, fast cooling, nice corrosion resistance to strong acid and alkali, nice thermal conductivity properties which highly shorten the casting time and save energy; It keeps its natural graphite of various physical and chemical properties; This mold is ideal for making several bars at the same
  • Reliable material: mainly made of graphite, these molds are with hardness 51 HSD, 89 MPA compression resistance, 48.7 MPa flex resistance, bulk density 1.86 g per cubic cm, ensuring that the metal purity will not be affected during metal refining; Nice thermal conductivity and corrosion, well heat transfer
  • Nice temperature resistance: graphite crucible let the products more durable than ordinary material products, which can withstand more than 2000 degrees Celsius high temperature

Note: Manual measurement, please allow slight errors on size. The colors may exist slight difference due to different screens. Pure graphite crucible can not be heated by carbon furnace or charcoal kiln. It will be oxidized and cracked. Pure graphite will start to oxidize at 752 degrees Fahrenheit/ 400 degrees Celsius. The withstand temperatures can be 3200 degrees Fahrenheit if you use air electric furnace. The withstand temperatures can be 5000 degrees Fahrenheit if you use vacuum or gas protection furnace.

Great for smelting small amounts of copper, silver, gold, and aluminum. I just wish they were a little bigger

I must not have read the dimensions well because this thing can practically fit in the palm of my hand 😂 it's comically small! My husband and I had a good laugh over it when it arrived. BUT it looks exactly like the picture and should work even though it's not the size I was looking for.

It's dirt cheap and very durable. I've accidentally dropped mine into cold water while it was glowing hot. Didn't hurt it at all. It's very temperature shock resistant. The sizes are perfect for me, but I'm melting gold. These aren't for aluminum or anything, just small amounts of precious metals. Anyone who leaves a bad review because it's too small isn't super bright. They have the measurements right there in the pitcure... you expect a graphite mold the size of a brick for 12 bucks?! Lol

It’s small and the bars portion is pretty much useless. I’ll give this one more star if it stands up to durability. I think it’d be good for jewelry making but still I see it as having to do twice as much pours. I bought a pair of them luckily, I think if you’re doing anything but jewelry making just buy a bigger mold, or have your own machined. Like I said it’s not a terrible product just tiny and if it stands durability I’ll give it another star. I don’t see these lasting past 100 pours.Update 12/30/23 The first one I started using is still going the graphite is starting to chip and fall apart, the second one is completely destroyed already the mold is so small that when you fill it up everything expands and tightens up even if mold is prepped properly. Spend the extra money and get a bigger, better, quality mold.

One of the biggest problems I find when it comes to Graphite Casting Molds is they are made too thin. Too fragile! Not with this vendor! The mold is nice and thick and didn't have a single blemish or chip in it. The edges and bottom were square and level. It doesn't wobble on the table. Great workmanship and attention to detail! I will be buying more from this vendor! That's for sure!

Works best if pre heated well

Picture showed much larger than this is. Measurements are given, but when a picture shows a clearly larger object, it is misleading. Not well made. Virtually useless.
