They do their job, as a deterrent. I use them outdoors so lock is getting a little stiff

While the long term results are unknown, I like these much better than padlocks, especially the plastic coated variety that have all kinds of issues. Smooth operation and easily reversible to protect the keyhole from weather. They are a suitable replacement for standard padlocks and feel more solid in general.
