These work so well without charging very often (not even monthly) and give off so much light where needed. I like the options of the hanger or other ways to set-up. I bought 2 more sets for presents.

While these are very bright, there is no dimming effect whatsoever. They work well. Last a decent amount of time and have the ability to hang or magnetic. No remote but that is fine with me.

I put the pen next to the light for scale so you can figure how big the lamp is.The lamp turned on when I switched the power button after opened the box, but I plugged the charging cable to charge it full (you will know when the light turns red to green).The lamp has a hook at the end so you can hang it on or stick it on a metallic surface with the magnet built in, or use the iron pad for the non-metallic surface.I use it on our steel front door as in the morning when we leave the house, it's still dark after we turn off all the lights inside so we need some light there, where the sun can't reach for solar light option. The magnet inside the lamp is pretty strong, it sticks well on the door and only turn on when we open the door or someone appears in front of the door. The light is on for about 15-20 seconds then turn off.The charging time is about 2 hrs for full charge, we will use the option Night Mode and hope the light power lasts for a while until the next charge but since it won't be used too much, it should last 2-3 weeks.Light is warm white, but I prefer cool white (as it's brighter), price is pretty reasonable.

When I ordered these, they were called "White Under Cabinet Lighting - 102 LED Rechargeable Motion Sensor...." No mention of RV steps. I was ready to use them under cabinets (or shelves, in my kitchen) but most of them ended up in my walk-in closet to replace the light bulb and string. And they make a huge difference. Ironically, one made its way to a step near the bottom of the stairs leading from my front door to the rest of my condo. Coming home used to be very dark and scary, but not anymore. As soon as that light senses motion it turns itself on and no more dark & scary. I recommend these lights whether or not you have an RV.

My house is old and dark. She's 92 years old now, and look as good at 92 you will not. She's doing her best in this world.I've always wanted under cabinet lighting, but I really don't want to call my poor electrician out to install any. These lights are so cool because they take a few minutes to install and you can just recharge them!It was seriously so easy! I wiped the underneath of the cabinets off with alcohol, stuck the little metal plates to the lights, pulled the backing off the adhesive, and stuck them up where I wanted them. That was it.Now when they start getting dim, all I need to do is pull them back off and charge them. They just stick to the metal plates with magnets.They have four settings:-Off-Motion activated only in the dark-Motion activated anytime-On all the timeAnd the motion activation is pretty sensitive. It'll trigger just because I've walked near the cabinets, which I like. Now I don't need to turn my whole light on just to get water at night. It's great!I wish I had gotten these a long time ago.Now to remodel that kitchen...

I love these so much that I'm ordering more! Just charge them and set the switch to the motion sensor option and attach them to a metal surface in a dark spot. The next time you venture into the darkness your steps will be illuminated! My house is over 100 years old and the only lights in the basement are operated by pull strings which give plenty of light once they're turned on but leave the area in complete darkness when they're off so that navigating to and from the light has always been tricky! I attached several of these to the metal heat runs above the paths to each string light and now they pop on whenever I step into the path, illuminating my steps to the string light so that there's no more stumbling around in the dark. It's wonderful!The lights are metallic so they can be attached to a metal surface without doing anything else to them but they also have a hanger on one so that they can hang wherever there's a hook and they come with adhesive tabs that can be attached to any non-metallic surface so that the lights can be attached almost anywhere. I am super-pleased with this product!
