Deployed a couple of these rigs taking out the kids for catching Spot, Croaker, etc. on the inland bays of Maryland. The rigs didn't get tangled up or have any issues for a couple of 4 through 8 year olds fishing. Plenty of success too with bloodworms (fish bites) and squid.

These are perfect if you enjoy surf fishing, but don't enjoy tying up rigs. For a beginner surf fisher, these have been great. The knots are tied well and all of the components seem to be a quality that are in line with the price. I haven't had any issues with these rigs yet and will continue to use them.
