Removing the skid plate on a 3rd gen 4runner is recommended during oil change (otherwise your filter dumps oil onto the plate). I've lost a few of the fasteners over the years and have just used a few random replacements that are the correct thread. Now I can replace them all at next oil change, and with stainless! I recommend using an anti seize paste on these!

Bolts were the right gauge, but they're shorter than the rusty bolts I replaced. They still worked.
