I wish my hitch came with this vital piece of gear!!! These things are stupid heavy and bulky, so it's really hard on your back, even for 2 people. With this simple item, i was able to throw a rope over the beam in my garage, lift it, pull the truck out, and then put it down on a dolly. This allowed me to easily roll it into the corner for storage.in the future, i'll be getting a pulley (the rope over the square beam will be difficult to lift with) and an extra dolly that i can always keep this on. With that setup, my 5th wheel might as well weigh nothing, if i use a dual pulley setup, my wife could manage it easily, while i position it into place. I can't imagine why this type of thing isn't standard with one of these massive hitches, but now that i have one, i'll never have to lift this massive thing again!!! couldn't' be happier with a product!

This 5th wheel hitch pin makes it easy to remove our hitch from the bed of the truck with our cherry picker. You could also use some type of hoist. It is well made and heavy duty. We are impressed with the quality and function of this must-have tool!
