Length was good with unit mounted on Tung, easy to install, seams to be good quality. No seal for the top but there is a lip to keep water out. I don't think rain would be a issue however tire spray could be. Time will tell. quality is good. I would buy another if needed. I might drill a small drain hole in the back or bottom as a drain hole just in case.

Seriously impressed with this product. I lost track of how many times I’ve had to work on my trailer lights.Likes; easy and self explanatory to install. Makes wiring your lights very easy especially if you want/need to tap into the junction box for additional lights or accessories.Dislikes; nothing to dislike about this. I would recommend to add 2 additional blank access plugs(?) in case you want to be sure to protect the connections from water intrusion bugs/insects or weather.

Exactly what it said it was and no problems with it.

Seems ok but very stiff and the wiring doesn’t match up with normal trailer wiring

Bought this to convert my trailer from 5 pin to 7 pin win trailer brakes. The wire used in this seems very good. Makes it much easier that the connections are already done for you. I will end up disconnecting the auxiliary 12v.Haven’t fully installed it yet on my trailer but I love that it comes with a cap. I was using duct tape on my 5 pin as a co when my trailer is sitting in my yard most of the year. Cable is nice and stiff

Works great, but it is not cold weather ready. The rubber become hard to bend when needed majes keeping the plug in the socket

Extended the pig tail on our boat trailer to fit our new truck. All the wire connections are housed in the junction box and protected without the use of electrical tape or shrink tape. This is the way to go.

I have had on going troubles with the lights on the trailer. We exclusively fish in salt water and the trailer is aluminum. The tail lights all had grounds that frequently would get compromised to to dissimilar metals and salt. I ran all grounds as well as main leads to this hub where they would have very little exposure to salt. I also no longer need a 4 way to 7 way converter to connect to my vehicle.
