A few decades ago I acquired this same ruler and used and loved it until it vanished a couple of years ago. I decided to look for a replacement recently and amazingly found the identical ruler. Quickly ordered three since they were so cheap. They are identical to my original except much thinner steel. I’m sure some beancounter figured they could save a penny each that way. Oh well, capitalism at work. I would have paid a couple of bucks more each for the thicker version. But it is still a great little ruler for us who like and work with the metric system.

If you are buying these for the sliding pocket clip, do not buy! But the ruler is accurate. Most of these cheaper ruler have an iffy zero point. Both of these are spot on. Good readability.

TLDR: Liked the size, and the fact that they had both SAE/Metric. Cheap construction required tools and 10-15 minute clean-up. Clips were solid and square after adjusting. This explains the varying reviews.Details:I read the reviews, and ordered a pair. I'm glad I got two for comparison. Good for the price, if you can spend a little time on clean up. Both seemed flat and straight. Both pocket-clip/sliders were hopeless.One slider was so loose, it just fell off. The other was so tight, I could hardly move it. Both rulers needed deburring. I used a medium grid sand paper to clean up edges and corners. Tightened up loose clip with small needle nose (gently, and incrementally). Loosened tight clip with jewelers screwdriver.Found that one ruler was maybe 5 mils wider toward one end, which made clip bind at end. Filed it down until clip rode smoothly. Switched clips back and forth until both worked fine.OK for the price.
