I bought these to keep birds and insects out of my detached garage vents. The mesh is good and tight, but also flexible. I used upholstery tacks at first to hold the mesh in place, but even a staple gun works well. Better quality than I expected and price is cheap.

Used this to replace air intake mesh on my motorcycle that previous owner had cut out. Looks decent and keeps the down to medium sized debris out of the previous filter area.

Mesh does what it suppose to do. I use it to help me sift flour. I grind wheat berry to flour. But when you cut the mesh it does unravel and have sharp edges. So you have to be careful. It is strong and holds its shape.

I cut and used these sheets to cover drain openings at bottom of my lanai screening frames. Worked great. I used recommended screws for aluminum supports plus washers.

Straight forward steel mesh sections. Hot glued them onto my sterilite tub, and have been holding fast. Wasn't short changed on measurements, and has been very handy a few other projects I had in mind. Strong, but beware of loose wires along the edges. Small and pretty sharp.
