How to Use
Test the stencil on a disposable surface first
Apply a SMALL amount of paint to your brush, and then wipe off any excess paint on a scrap bit of paper. Your brush needs to be touch dry to prevent bleeding under the stencil, so paint only comes through when you apply pressure. The same applies when using a roller.
Keep the stencil on the wall
Use masking tape to keep the stencil in place on the wall. Apply paint over the stencil with a small dense sponge roller or a stencil brush. Just use parts of the previously painted design to align the stencil, check for level and continue.

I love this look and I bought wallpaper but it was so hard to apply that I changed my approach and bought these stencils. These are nice thick stencils and the marks are precise. It allowed me to measure from mark to mark to make sure I stayed on track for an even pattern. As some reviews stated, the stencil leaks. I wish it had some sort of low tack adhesive on the back to allow you to put a nice thick coat of paint without worrying about sloppiness. However, I must note, I used brushes I had for painting canvases and didn’t realize you are supposed to use a different brush for stencils. I have a pretty steady hand so I was able to go back and touch up my lines to give them a clean look afterwards. Overall for $10 I’m happy with this product and though I bought it for this one pattern, I may use the others for other projects because the pattens are just so beautiful and they all match a certain look and will make the house flow from room to room.

No matter how lightly I sponged on the paint it still would bleed through the edges, so we went with perfect imperfection. Some stencils won’t look good cause they need to be straight edges. Still worked out ok, just know it won’t contain the edges.

I was pretty happy with the results. Good value since you get several stencils that you can test out in order to pick the one you want, or use in other rooms.The stencil is about the size of a normal piece of paper, which felt small when I was doing the project, however, if it was any bigger I think it would be way too flimsy

This was a great alternative to wallpaper is my small bathroom. The pattern is cute and the stencil is very easy to use. I did get a little off level but it’s not real noticeable. The only thing I would change would be the stencil edge should be bigger, several times I had to wipe the wall around with accidentally overpaint. I tried a small roller but found a small round stencil brush worked better for application. Several stencil options to choose from as well, no bad options!

The ones in the package weren’t even the ones in the photo. And they don’t work. The paint just all seeps through. Dumb. I just threw them away.

Easy to use. I have textured walls so i expected some bleed through. I say tedious because I had to wipe the back of the stencils after every application. I do love how it turned out.
