Perfect tool for removing the outer rubber/plastic jacket from raw speaker or microphone cable when adding connectors. I works better than wire cutters because it never cuts the interior insulated wires. Just insert at the end of the cable just like for a sewn fabric and slide/cut down the cable until the cable end hits the handle. This is about a 3/4" cut that is just right for most applications. Just use scissors to remove this section from the rest of the cable and your done.

Bought these as a replacement. They look identical except the stamping on the metal. I can not say the quality is fantastic but if they last as long as the first one, I will never have to buy another one again.

I work at Dillard's in the mens tailored dept. We use seam strippers all the time. I reordered these as they are the best I have used.
